At Deer Creek Doodles, we’re committed to providing healthy, happy puppies and a transparent adoption experience. Our Refund & Returns Policy outlines what you can expect from us and what we ask in return.

🚀 Health Guarantee at Time of Delivery

We guarantee that your puppy is in good health at the time of delivery. Each puppy is:

• Vet checked

• Dewormed

• Vaccinated

If your puppy is diagnosed with a serious health issue upon arrival, you may be eligible for:

• A full refund of the purchase price OR

• A replacement puppy from a future litter

To qualify:

• The issue must be diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian within 3 business days of receiving the puppy

• Diagnosis must be documented and verified by our veterinarian

• The puppy must be returned to us within 4 business days at the buyer’s expense

Note: Minor conditions (fleas, worms, stress-induced diarrhea, etc.) do not qualify for a refund.

🌐 Genetic & Hip Dysplasia Warranty

1-Year Genetic Warranty

We offer a one (1) year warranty against life-altering genetic conditions. If such a condition is diagnosed:

• Buyer may choose a 75% refund or a replacement puppy from a future litter

• Diagnosis must be confirmed by a licensed veterinarian and reviewed by our vet

2-Year Hip Dysplasia Warranty

• Covers severe cases of hip dysplasia as certified by OFA

• Buyer must provide documentation from OFA and veterinary records

• Refund of 75% of the puppy’s purchase price will be issued

Warranty Void If:

• The dog is allowed to become overweight

• Injury is deemed a contributing factor

🚫 What Is Not Covered

Refunds will not be issued for:

• Personal preferences or lifestyle changes (e.g. allergies, schedule conflicts)

• Failure to bond with the puppy

• Landlord issues or breed restrictions

• Behavioral issues due to lack of training

• Size, coat color, texture, or house-training ability

✅ Buyer Responsibilities

To maintain your health guarantee:

• Spay/neuter your puppy by 12 months of age (non-breeding contract)

• Provide routine vet care and vaccinations

• Maintain healthy weight and avoid overexertion of joints

• Provide adequate housing, socialization, and humane care

Health guarantee is void if these terms are not met.

🚨 Rehoming Clause

If you are unable to keep your puppy for any reason:

• Contact us first

• We will help rehome the dog responsibly

Reselling or rehoming without written permission from Deer Creek Doodles is not allowed.

⚖️ Legal

• All veterinary costs after adoption are the sole responsibility of the buyer

• This warranty is non-transferable

• Legal fees incurred by Deer Creek Doodles to enforce this policy are the responsibility of the buyer
